Lewis County Republican Club

Please bring a toy or book to the December meeting. Last December, the Lewis County Republican Club began a new tradition of donating a small toy and a book to Possibilities Pregnancy Center in Centralia, an organization that provides resources and support for pregnant women. We wanted expectant mothers to have some books in their home to read to their older children and even and baby books to read to babies. It went over very well. We also had a lot of members bring small toys to give to both babies and older siblings. The expectant mothers were allowed to choose which toy and which book they would provide for their child or children.

Since Jeremy’s provides the facility for our meetings at no charge, they ask that we do order a meal during our meetings which take place from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on the 4th Thursday of each month. We do not meet in July or August. Our November meeting this year falls on Thanksgiving so that meeting will be held December 1st. There will be no other meeting in December. 

We are a woman’s Republican Club, but men are welcome to join. We have about 14 male members and 40 women at this time. We are affiliated with the Washington State Federation of Republican Women and The National Federation of Republican Women of which there over 61,000 members nationally. We have been active here in Lewis County since October 1945.

Yearly dues for women are $30.00 and $15.00 for men. Couples receive a discount of $5.00 at $40.00. Men pay less because they have no voting rights. Dues are payable each December.

The mission of the Club is to elect Republicans. We seek to provide interesting and educational speakers reflecting current and local events, organizations, and candidates. Guests are welcome anytime. 

Please come early for seating and ordering lunch if at all possible.
